1. OVERVIEW
The Gavel Glory Awards (hereinafter referred to as "the Awards") are organized by Gavel Glory (Gavel Glory Ventures LLP). The Awards aim to recognize and honor excellence, innovation, and integrity within the legal fraternity, including individual practitioners, law firms, and human resource leaders. By submitting a nomination or participating in the event, the "Nominee" or "Participant" agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. ELIGIBILITY
2.1. The Awards are open to legal professionals, law firms, and HR professionals associated with the legal industry.
2.2. Nominees must meet the specific criteria defined for each category.
2.3. All information provided in the nomination form must be true, complete, and accurate.
2.4. Gavel Glory reserves the right to disqualify any nominee who provides false information or whose professional conduct is found to be in violation of legal ethics or public policy.
2.5. The Jury members are prohibited from submitting their own individual nominations. However, their colleagues or firms may submit entries in eligible categories, provided that the specific Jury member recuses themselves from the evaluation of that category.
3. NOMINATION PROCESS
3.1. Nominations must be submitted through the official website (gavelglory.com) via the designated forms for Organizational, Individual, or HR categories. Physical or emailed dossiers will not be accepted unless specifically requested by the organizers.
3.2. Self-Nomination: Individuals and firms are permitted to nominate themselves.
3.3. Deadlines: All nominations must be received by the deadline specified on the website. Late entries may not be considered.
3.4. Confidentiality: Nominees are responsible for ensuring that any client names or sensitive case details shared in the nomination are either anonymized or shared with prior client consent.
3.5. Once the "Submit" or "Payment" step is initiated, the application becomes "Locked." Changes, edits, or additions to the form will not be permitted post-payment.
3.6. The onus of providing precise and verifiable information rests solely with the nominee. Any discrepancies, misrepresentations, or incomplete data discovered during the vetting process will result in the immediate nullification of the entry without a refund.
3.7. Applicants must ensure that all uploaded files (PDFs, images, or links) are accessible across all operating systems (Windows, Mac, etc.) and browsers.
3.8 Please do not upload password-protected documents. If the Jury or technical partners cannot view your evidence due to security locks or corrupted files, the entry may be disqualified without further notice.
4. FEE, REGISTRATION AND ATTENDANCE
4.1. All award processing fees are strictly non-refundable. Should a nominee be unable to attend the ceremony due to unforeseen emergencies or professional commitments, they may appoint a colleague or authorized representative to attend in their stead.
4.2. Once a payment transaction is successfully submitted, no requests for refunds or credit will be entertained under any circumstances.
4.3. A nomination is officially considered "Accepted" only upon the successful receipt of the prescribed fee. Payments must be cleared via the official online portal or received in person at the Delhi NCR office to finalize the entry.
5. POST SUBMISSION ENGAGEMENT
5.1. The Organizers or their designated Audit/ Tabulation partners reserve the right to contact the nominee at any stage to request further clarification or evidence.
5.2. Failure to provide requested clarifications within the stipulated timeframe (usually 48–72 hours) may lead to the forfeiture of the nomination.
6. SELECTION AND EVALUATION
6.1. The selection process is governed by a distinguished Jury Panel comprising senior legal practitioners, academicians, and industry experts.
6.2. Evaluation criteria include professional accomplishments, impact on the legal community, innovation, and adherence to ethical practices.
6.3. The Jury’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence or appeals regarding the selection process or the results will be entertained.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND PROMOTION
7.1. By submitting a nomination, the Nominee grants Gavel Glory the right to use their name, photograph, logo, and a summary of their achievements for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes across various media platforms.
7.2. Winners may use the "Gavel Glory Award Winner" title and logo in their own marketing materials, provided they do not alter the logo or misrepresent the category won.
8. DISQUALIFICATION AND REVOCATION
8.1. Gavel Glory reserves the right to disqualify a nominee or revoke an award if:
The information provided is found to be fraudulent.
The awardee is found guilty of professional misconduct by a Bar Council or a court of law.
The awardee acts in a manner that brings the Awards or Gavel Glory into disrepute.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
9.1. The organizers shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by participants during the event or as a result of the nomination process.
9.2. Gavel Glory is not responsible for any technical issues that prevent the timely submission of nomination forms.
10. CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENTS
10.1. Gavel Glory reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or change the venue of the event due to unforeseen circumstances or "Force Majeure" (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions)
10.2. The organizers reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
10.3. The Organizers reserve the right to update or amend website content at any time without prior notification. It is the responsibility of the Applicants to review the platform periodically for any updates or changes to the terms and guidelines.
10.4. The Organizers reserve the absolute right to reject or disqualify any entry deemed offensive to national or religious sentiments, or which is otherwise contrary to public decency and ethical standards.
11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
11.1. These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
11.2. Any disputes arising out of the Awards or these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
